From CD liner notes (after saying that Clapton was replaced by Jeff Beck): "But there was a lot of great blues music in the can by then, as this compilation proves. To the first three singles and their b-sides are added four tracks, three of them Bo Diddley work outs, from the 1964 release 'Five Live Yardbirds', a couple of numbers from their time as backing group to their idol Sonny Boy Williamson on a 1965 tour, plus two historic 1963 tracks from the Crawdaddy days, written by Howlin' Wolf and Chuck Berry respectively."
