Status: This is an official style guideline.

Hebrew Script

Hebrew has no capitalization, so this isn't an issue.

Artist credits

Avoid using ampersand (&) as a join phrase (unless it's the Artist Intent). Use conjunctive Vav (ו החיבור) instead.

Prefer typographically-correct punctuation.

The most common typographic punctuation marks are:

Niqqud

If the artwork has niqqud (usually for children records) it is preferred to add it in the release title, track titles and artist credits. For the release group, recording, works or artist names an alias with niqqud can be added.

Latin Script

The first letter of a word that starts with an apostrophe ('), underscore (_), or other pronunciation break should be lowercase. If it is the first word of the title, however, it should be uppercase.

The first letter of every other word should be capitalized.

All other letters should be lowercase.
