Beschreibung
Used traditionally by the Minang people of West Sumatra for love songs, in shamanic rites and for capturing tigers, this open end-blown bamboo flute can be decorated to resemble tiger-stripes. Played with a circular breathing technique, it is 75 cm long with 3 to 6 holes depending on subtype.
