"Suvi stands for summer in Finnish western dialects and is one of the earliest known words dating back to Uralic protolanguages. Because of the drawn out, frigid wintertime Finns celebrate their summer ardently. Suvi is a journal of field recordings of these small passing moments in June and features a minimalist synthesizer piece. A look into a personal summer with ordinary ambiance - the soughing of the wind high in the maple trees lulling into sleep on sunny nights, moments at home and with family..."
