Annotation
Before forming Fountains of Wayne in 1996, Chris Collingwood and Adam Schlesinger recorded together under the name Pinwheel (sometimes spelled Pinnwheel). These demos are from that time period, and are believed to have been recorded as early as 1986 or as late as 1992. Troubled Times, I Know You Well, Imperia, and Half a Woman were later recorded as Fountains of Wayne songs, and Cry One Tear was later performed by The Gay Potatoes (a Chris Collingwood side-project).
