Annotation

Japan‐only 2CD/2DVD set compiling all Japanese single A‐sides issued 1975 to 1999, and all 62 official music videos to the present day, 22 issued on DVD for the first time in the world.

In “fatboy” jewel case with clear trays and obi. A 52 page colour booklet includes a “Single Cover Art Gallery” reproducing all Japanese single cover art (7″, 12″, 8cm, 12cm). A second 80 page b/w booklet includes extensive liner notes including track by track commentary (in Japanese), lyrics to all CD tracks (in English and Japanese), compilation credits and a five page discography of other compilations in the series.

All music remastered, 2023.

CD:
Tracks 1–6 and 2–9 released as singles only in Japan.
Track 1–7 issued on promotional single only (no commercial release in Japan).
Tracks 2–13, 2–17 and 2–18 not released as singles in Japan.
Track 2–17 is the world’s first CD release.
(tracks 1–7, 2–13, 2–17 and 2–18 are designated “bonus tracks”)

DVD:
Tracks 1–1, 1–4, 1–9, 1–11, 1–26, 1–31, 1–32, 2–2, 2–6 to 2–21, and 2–23 to 2–30 are designated “bonus features” (included only on DVD).
Track 1–26 is the first DVD appearance for this track in Japan.
Tracks 1–27 to 1–29, 1–31 and 1–32 are HD remasters (SD quality on DVD).
Tracks 2–6 to 2–10, and 2–14 to 2–30 are the world’s first DVD release.
