Iron Maiden is raw, fast, and unapologetically street-level. The production is rough around the edges, but the hunger is undeniable — especially in the galloping bass lines and the ambition of tracks like “Phantom of the Opera.” Paul Di’Anno brings a gritty snarl that gives the songs danger instead of grandeur. It’s not the fully realized Maiden yet, but you can clearly hear the blueprint forming.
