BHG's second outing, 1996's One Fiece Beer Coaster, is when the band really began their trajectory "up". The comedy here is still as juvenile as it was on the debut, but the production has seen a welcome improvement which really helps to let these jokes land. If you don't really like BHG's most popular content, then don't bother yourself with any of their other work - frontman Jimmy Pop has a strong grip on the steering wheel for the type of music they produce so don't expect any heart-felt introspectives, and if you think one of them was to occur a crude punchline is just round the corner.

Now that paragraph sounds utterly negative, considering I've just given it a lauded 5* - but you see my humor is rather broken, and so I can't help but laugh and bop along to all 12 tracks here. I can't really pick out any individual track, of course Fire Water Burn is one of the more popular tracks from this album with Jimmy's dour delivery in full force but it doesn't mean that its a serious track (the song starting "Hi my name is Jimmy Pop and I'm a dumb white guy" shows Mr Pop's self-awareness). A cover of Run-DMC's It's Tricky is probably one of the weaker tracks here, likely because it pales in comparison to the perfection of the original.

It's a hard feat to recommend any BHG album, but if you want to try and take a dip - give this album a try.
