The Pleasure Principle (30th anniversary edition, Townshend Records exclusive)

~ Release by Gary Numan (see all versions of this release, 9 available)

Annotation

2–11 to 2–14 are 2009 re‐masters.

"Definitive" 30th anniversary remastered re-issue of the 1979 album.
Disc 2 contains the original demo versions and out-takes of the tracks from the recording sessions, which eventually made it to the album or were released as B sides to related singles.
Tracks 1-9 on CD3 were live tracks originally intended to be part of a 'Live EP' series to be released between the end of 1979 and early 1980. The project was eventually abandoned although selected live tracks made it to the Living Ornaments 79 LP/cassette, reproduced here in tracks 10-18. All these live recordings were subsequently released on the remastered double CD edition of Living Ornaments 79.
