RCA Music Group (add no releases here!)

Add no releases here! This page merely serves to establish the relationships between the several labels managed by this division and its own parent, Sony Music Entertainment.

RCA Music Group was an umbrella group of labels distributed by Sony Music Entertainment that existed between March 2004 and 2009, and for a short period of time between July 2011 (after immediate parent RCA/Jive Label Group was shut down) and October 2011 until all RCA Music Group labels were merged with RCA Records. The labels under its charge had comprised Arista Records, J Records, Jive Records, and RCA Records. Since October 7 2011, due to a restructuring of the group (which by then was known as RCA/Jive Label Group), the labels Arista Records, J Records, and Jive Records were shuttered and their artists transferred to the "rebranded" RCA Records. The group itself had become defunct by then.
