This not only is a dmppanda experiment, but it's also a somewhat dormant project. The initial author now thinks the best way to do this is to store the data in annotations, using a standard formating, and retrieve releases on-demand with a script running on a local copy of the database.

Purpose

This page is similar in intent and scope to the Jazz places page. Thus it's a discographic research tool that retro-link releases to recording dates.

For a start, all dates will be listed on the same page. If this project reach a few hundreds entries, I think we should better create one page per year, eg: Jazz/Dates/yyyy syntax.

Ultimate Goal

Convince somebody that we need recording dates entries in MusicBrainz ;).
